Go East Receives 2010 American Graphic Design Award

St. Paul, Minnesota, January 17, 2011 — Go East is pleased to announce that it received the 2010 American Graphic Design award for a 28-page annual report it created for the Tubman, a non-profit that promotes safe and healthy families, individuals and communities through evidence-based intervention, prevention and education.

“It is great to recognize the power that good design can have for non-profit organizations,” says Carla Januska, creative director at Go East. “We focus on working with great brands like Tubman and use design to help them meet their strategic goals and fulfill their mission. Creating impact, engaging their audiences and helping promote their important work is part of our mission.”

The modular design of the annual report complements the organization’s new brand identity and visually communicates a strong foundation, underscoring the central theme, “Tubman is here.” This theme reflects Tubman’s stability in the economic downturn and — with a new location opening — its strong presence in the community.

“We were delighted with the work Go East provided on the annual report,” says Bev Dusso, Tubman’s president. “They helped us bring clarity to our message without dumbing us down. They really listened to us, and the end product truly captured the spirit and passion of what we do.”
